CCL Facades delivered a bespoke façade package at One City Park in Bradford, a landmark Grade A office development within the city centre.
The project represents one of CCL Facades’ most complex schemes to date, requiring a highly engineered solution to meet both architectural ambition and performance requirements helping to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
The quality of design and delivery was recognised at the Façade Awards, where the project received the ‘Best Use of Curtain Walling’ award, highlighting CCL Facades’ expertise in delivering innovative, high-performance façade systems.
The façade comprises a Wicona structural glazing (SG) system, incorporating acoustic barriers and a bespoke package of Speedpanel A2 insulated spandrel panels to deliver a fully tested, high-performance building envelope.
The system was developed to achieve strong thermal, acoustic and fire performance while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The use of silicone glazing allows for a seamless external appearance, supporting the architectural vision of a premium commercial workspace.
Close collaboration with specialist suppliers enabled the integration of advanced façade components, ensuring the system met both compliance requirements and project-specific performance targets.

A key challenge of the project was the building’s unique curved geometry, which required bespoke design solutions to ensure consistency across the façade.
CCL Facades worked closely with Speedpanel to develop a toggle-fixed spandrel panel system, specifically designed to accommodate the curvature of the building while maintaining alignment, performance and buildability.
Through technical innovation, precise detailing and high-quality installation, CCL Facades delivered an award-winning façade that balances architectural intent with robust performance, setting a benchmark for curtain walling systems in commercial developments.
