CCL Facades, part of the Caddick Group, has reached completion of two major residential schemes in the North West, Lancaster Extra Care and West Vale in Oldham, adding to the business’ growing portfolio of projects in the North West.
With a combined value of £700k, these projects saw CCL Facades design, supply and deliver specialist aluminium interlocking plank walling, with the developments having now been handed over to main contractor, Caddick Construction.
The projects extend CCL Facades’ growing portfolio across the North West, since it was established in 2022.
Elsewhere in the region, the business is delivering specialist cladding at Stretford Mall where Caddick construction arm is redeveloping the existing shopping centre. In Stockport, CCL Facades is also working with Caddick to deliver 131 new build homes at Edward Street for The Guinness Partnership.
Delivered on behalf of Progress Housing Group, the newly completed Lancaster Extra Care scheme saw CCL Facades install a 2.0mm precoat facade, supporting secondary framing and associated cavity barrier.
Lancaster Extra Care will boost the provision of specialist residential support for those aged 55 and over, providing a safe and comfortable space for those requiring varying levels of care.
In Oldham, CCL Facades’ work on the new residential scheme, West Vale included the design, supply and installation of a 1.2mm Polyester Powder Coating rainscreen system, which included insulation and associated cavity barriers.
The seven-storey residential apartment block, delivered on behalf of First Choice Homes Oldham, offers 88 new affordable homes for local families in Coldhurst.
Tony Blake, Managing Director at CCL Facades, comments:
“We have built our expertise over time working across a varied and extensive portfolio of Yorkshire-based schemes spanning the healthcare, high-rise residential, commercial and student housing sectors, amongst many others. In a strategic move for the business, last year we welcomed new contracts in the North West, and we look forward to developing our business pipeline further as the group continues to grow across the region.” Tony Blake, Managing Director at CCL Facades
